Went to UC Botanical Garden for a field trip and found this beauty in the pool. As someone with almost 0 knowledge of herps, I can’t tell the difference between Taricha granulosa and Taricha torosa, but I heard that Taricha torosa would have a light color around their eyes. Warning: don’t try to pick them up and hold them if you don’t have prior experience with herps!
