Went on a pelagic trip with Legacy Whale Watch!! I’ve always known that albatrosses are big and they have an incredible wingspan which made their incredible trips across the globe possible. The wandering albatross at Museum of Vertebrate Zoology was huge compared with other specimens. However, seeing an actual albatross in the middle of the ocean still surprised me. It was such a massive bird.
